Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) Training

1 Day course

Since April 2008 all construction with the estimated value of £300,000 or above need to produce a Site Waste Management Plan. 

This training course has been developed to provide you with a background as to why they were introduced along with a practical step by step guide in developing your own Site Waste Management Plan.

Training is provided by an experienced Environmental Advisor with a construction background to guide you and your organisation into developing a dedicated Site Waste Management Plan that suits your organisation. 

Training takes place through forms of teaching and group discussions.

During the course you will receive practical experience of how to gather your information and how to present it in order to show your legal compliance and how it will benefit your organisation through minimising your waste, which will save on disposal costs.

The course is designed for individuals who are responsible for preparing SWMPs, or as a site manager that has a responsibility to ensure they are prepared but have no specific environmental background.
